Description
Plate. Flaring, downturned rim with rounded, thickened lip. Molded decoration on top and exterior faces: egg-and-dart with line of beads along edge between upper and sloping outer faces of rim. Worn beveling on bottom outer edge, undercut with deep groove; molded ledge on inner edge. Irregular incised groove below rim, just above sharp carination.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 7.5YR 8/6 to 7/6, reddish yellow. Slip: 2.5YR 4/8, red. Material typical for ware.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves 25% of rim. Slight abrasion.
