Description
Four rows of short, vertical gouges to one side (below? to right?) of curvature and molded decoration of raised loops (hair? fleece?) to other side (above? to left?) of curvature. Uncertain plastic vessel.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric (interior): 2.5YR 6/6, light red; (exterior): 10YR 7/4, very pale brown. Slip: 2.5YR 6/8 to 7/5, reddish brown. Soft, fine fabric with rare, miniscule, golden mica and very few to few, small, rounded, white inclusions. Thin, even, dull to slightly metallic slip preserved in linear streaks.
Preservation description
One fragment preserves small part of body just below shoulder. Severe, extensive abrasion and sparse chipping and gouging; very worn breaks.
