Description
Four rows of short, vertical gouges to one side (below? to right?) of curvature and molded decoration of raised loops (hair? fleece?) to other side (above? to left?) of curvature. Uncertain plastic vessel.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric (interior): 2.5YR 6/6, light red; (exterior): 10YR 7/4, very pale brown. Slip: 2.5YR 6/8 to 7/5, reddish brown. Soft, fine fabric with rare, miniscule, golden mica and very few to few, small, rounded, white inclusions. Thin, even, dull to slightly metallic slip preserved in linear streaks.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves small part of body just below shoulder. Severe abrasion and slight chipping.
