Description
Pedestal krater. Globular upper body. Flaring rim, sharply thickened on in-terior, with downturned lip. Round, horizontal handle attaches to upper shoulder and just below rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric (core): 7.5YR 5/1, gray; (surfaces): 2.5YR 5/6, red. Somewhat soft, gritty fabric, hackly break, with few mica and abundant, moderately sorted, subangular to subrounded, white and gray inclusions. Regional.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves small part of upper body, <25% of rim, and one entire handle. Slight, extensive encrustation on interior. Scorched after breaking.
