Description
Tall, cylindrical neck, slightly tapered. Slightly flaring vertical rim with triangular lip thickened outward. Oval, lightly ridged handle attaches to upper neck and shoulder. Red dipinto in two lines on lower neck: ΡΑ[---] | Κ[---]. Measured quantity in second line?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric (core): 5YR 6/6, reddish yellow; (surface) 5YR 7/4, pink. Hard, smooth, very fine fabric with abundant fine mica, common, poorly sorted, rounded white inclusions, and common, very small, brown flecks.
Preservation comment
Six joining fragments preserve small part of shoulder, most of neck, 25% of rim, and one entire handle. Slight abrasion and gouging. Dipinto is faint.
