Description
Slightly concave base. Globular body with sloping shoulder. Short flaring neck. Irregular trefoil mouth. Sliced, oval handle, crooked, attaches to shoulder and lip.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
2.5YR 4/8, red. Somewhat soft, smooth, fine fabric with rare mica and few, small, rounded, white (lime) inclusions; laminar to hackly break.
Preservation comment
Almost intact, but missing 25% of lower body and >50% of base. Extensive erosion on body and slight chipping on rim; moderate to heavy, extensive encrustation.
