Description
Small bowl. Relatively thick walled. Rounded body with tooling marks. Rim tapers to narrow, rounded lip, almost pointed; one groove below lip on inner face, mostly flat outer face with faint, uneven band of rouletting; and small, overhanging, undercut flange.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 10R 6/6, light red. Slip: 2.5YR 4/8, red. Rough finishing; thin slip. Material typical for ware.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves <25% of rim. Slight abrasion; slight, sparse encrustation.
