Description
Ovoid body. Three grooves on upper wall. Slightly downturned, triangular rim with rounded lip, tooled beneath; thin ridge on wall below. Dip-slipped to coat rim, with drips and splashes down interior and exterior. Shallow corrugation across surface.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 7.5YR 8/2, pinkish white. Slip: 2.5YR 5/4, reddish brown. Hard, smooth, fine fabric with rare to very rare, small, white and red flecks. Dull, thin, mottled slip. Regional?
Preservation comment
Three large joining fragments preserve ca. 33% of body and <25% of rim. Slight, sparse abrasion.
