Description
Flat base. Flaring wall. Horizontal rim with outward thickened lip; groove on upper face of lip.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5YR 7/6, light red. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. Material typical for ware: ESB2. Mottled dipping streaks on base.
Preservation comment
Two joining fragments preserve <25% of base and 25% of rim, including full profile. Slight to moderate patch of encrustation.
