Creamy to golden white, fine, semitranslucent, calcite marble with visible crystalline structure. Pentelic.

Description
Chip from surface of small statue of draped figure. Three thick, flowing folds separated by two grooves, one deep, that converge toward top, probably from a chiton. Sculpting of fine, bright marble is of very high quality, sharp and fluid.
Preservation description
One small triangular fragment preserves one sculpted face. Moderate, extensive abrasion and slight, sparse chipping on all surfaces. Slight, somewhat sparse encrustation.
