Description
RW: Flan is broken down into oval and pierced in middle with large hole. Sometimes this is an artifact of the manufacturing process that is not uncommon for 5th-century nummi. However, this hole is larger than most and, upon examination, has ridging consistent with someone deliberately cutting through a hole from both sides: the holed coin may have been strung as a bead.
Preservation comment
Wear: P. Chipped margin has reduced diameter; extensive, slight to moderate pitting and sparse gouging.
