Description
Type of opposing Lares with columnar altar(?) flanked by fronds. Discus motif appears in several western formats and occasional eastern derivatives (see comparanda).
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 50% from back of discus and ca. 20% of shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion, rare pitting, and somewhat sparse chipping around edges; slight worn breaks; small, scattered patches of rough encrustation.
