Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard Late Roman Athenian fabric (orangish red, range of inclusions, irregular fracture), firing, and surface treatment (thin, uneven, brownish red slip almost wash overs top and sides). Cleanly smoothed lateral seam.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves very small part of discus, left front one-quarter of shoulder, and small part of channel to wickhole. Slight, moderate abrasion, pitting, and chipping; mostly clean breaks; thin, somewhat extensive patch of encrustation.
