Typical fabric (slightly coarse, small uncommon subangular unsorted white [calcitic] inclusions and rare, medium, angular dark gray-black inclusions), firing (hard, even), and surface treatment (thin, uneven, matte slip, slightly reddish orange).
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 25% from upper back part of lamp, including less than one-quarter of left discus, small part of shoulder, and upper handle. Moderate, extensive abrasion and slight, rare gouging; worn edges; few thin patches of encrustation.
