Description
Amphora with rounded shoulder and faint ridging. Red dipinto with large letters on shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff with tinge of pink; consistently fired. Hard, fine; smooth break. Rare, well sorted, tiny, black, red, and gray inclusions; very rare, small, rounded, white (calcareous) particles; frequently golden mica visible at surface
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves part of upper body and shoulder. Very slight, sparse abrasion with chipping along edge; worn breaks; extensive, gritty encrustation across surfaces.
