Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: pale red; fine, slightly soft; slightly granular break; well sorted, very small to small, subrounded, mixed white, black, brown-red inclusions); firing (consistent); and surface treatment (black slip inside and outside, but base and lower wall reserved; somewwhat thick, even, semilustrous).
Preservation comment
Nearly complete lamp from six sherds but missing part of back right wall. Moderate, extensive abrasion and infrequent chipping; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
