Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware: somewhat soft, fine, pale red fabric, consistently fired; thin, even but flaking, semimatte(?), dark reddish brown slip on interior only. Smoothed outside surface. Wheelmade. Cf. Ke 969-L 252.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves antire base and over half of wall with back base of nozzle. Moderate, extensive abrasion and rare pitting; worn breaks; thin film of encrustation on interior and scattered specks on exterior.
