Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: pale orange with reddish tinge; soft, fine, slightly granular break; very rare to rare, tiny to small, well sorted, subrounded(?), mixed white, black, and red-brown particles), firing (consistent?), and surface treatment (dark brown slip, inside but lower wall and base reserved; thin, flakey). Cf. KE 969-L 252.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves roughly lower one half of lamp. Extensive, moderate abrasion and large chips; very worn breaks; rare small patches of thick encrustation.
