Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: pale orange with red tinge; fine, slightly soft; slightly granular break; very rare, well sorted, very small, subrounded and subangular, mixed white, black, brown-red inclusions); firing (consistent); and surface treatment (black to dark brown slip inside and outside but base reserved; somewhat thick, even but flakey, semilustrous). Corinthian?
Preservation comment
Intact but missing front nozzle. Moderate, extensive abrasion and pitting with occasional gouging and large chip from front right; worn breaks.
