Amphora. Rounded shoulder. Red dipinto in three lines of small letters on shoulder near turn to neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale pink, consistently fired; very thin, inconsistent, buff wash. Fine, hard; smooth to slightly granular break. Tiny, somewhat clustered, mixed black, red, dark gray bits throughout; faintly micaceous; rare elongated voids. Kenchreai RC22? If so rather unrefined for ware. Faint turning marks on exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 20% of shoulder up to base of neck. Slight, sparse abrasion and minor chipping around edges; worn breaks.
