Description
Amphora. Low sloping or rounded shoulder; cylindrical lower neck. Red dipinto preserving one large letter on lower neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown fabric, buff exterior surface; consistently fired. Medium fine, hard; slightly granular break and slightly gritty texture. Uncommon to common, well sorted, very small, subangular, black, dark gray, and rarely white inclusions; faintly golden(?) micaceous; rare, small, elongated and subangular voids. LRA1?
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves very small part of shoulder with dipinto. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks.
