Description
Lekane. Straight, vertical to slightly flaring upper wall. Projecting, almost horizontal rim, flat on top, with rounded lip. Painted decoration on upper face of rim: black triangles with red outlines; red stripe over interior joint between wall and rim.
Fabric, firing, surface
Buff, fine (well-levigated) Corinthian fabric. Matte, even, thin painted decoration.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves ca. 10% of rim. Slight, extensive abrasion and scratching, rare chipping around edges; worn breaks; thin patches of encrustation.
