Kenchreai IV, p. 65, ad no. ER 42 (B. Adamsheck); Hayes 1985 (EAA-Atlante II), p. 67 (“cfr. inoltre il fondo [ibid.] ed il confronto ivi citato“).
Base sherd of conical cup with flat floor. The ring foot extends from intersection of wall and floor; provides nearly flat resting surface, interior face concave, exterior rounded. Stamp is likely a cross on somewhat irregular field.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine fabric with glistening micaceous bits visible in direct sunlight, consistently fired to red. Thick, slightly darker slip on all extant surfaces.
Single sherd preserves 1/4 of ring foot and much of flat floor. One chip but otherwise slip is well preserved on all extant surfaces.
