Description
Tapering upper body with strong turn to low sloping shoulder. Red dipinto in Latin just above turn to shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pinkish core with buff surface; consistently fired. Fine, hard; slightly granular break. Rare to uncommon, well sorted, tiny black and white bits; rare golden mica; rare, rounded, lime particles at surface. Wet smoothed.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 20% of shoulder with traces of dipinto. Slight, sparse abrasion with minor gouging; worn breaks; sparse small, thin patches of encruatation.
