sim. IsthmiaIII, p. 82, no. 3177, pl. 37 (O. Broneer; from south side temenos)
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric orangish red, somewhat fine but gritty, granular(?) fracture; well sorted tiny to small inclusions, mostly white but rare subangular gray, black, and red, faintly micacous. Consistently fired hard. Thin, even(?) wash slightly redder than fabric. Coarse variety of Southern Argolid fabric.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 10% of lateral shoulder with adjacent wall and ca. 40%; extensive, widespread erosion and slight abrasion; worn breaks. Weathering consistent with marine submersion.
