Amphora. Rounded shoulder with shallow corrugation. Red dipinto in large letters across shoulder: [ ]ΚΘ<
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff fabric with a tinge of pink, consistently fired. Fine, hard; mostly smooth break; patches of lumpy texture on exterior surface. Very rare, tiny to small, subrounded white (lime) bits; very rare, angular, dark gray chunks; rare, small, subrounded voids; uncommon, small, mica flakes (golden?).
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve ca. 18% of upper body with dipinto. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor chipping around edges; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
