Description
Amphora. Rounded shoulder. Red dipinto in large characters across upper(?) shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale red fabric; consistently fired. Medium hard, fine; smooth break. Uncommon, well sorted, very small, subrounded, white (calcareous) inclusions; rare, small, subangular, black inclusions; tiny flakes of golden mica.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves part of upper body or shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion with faint scratching and chipping; slightly worn breaks; thin, irregular, sparse patches of encrustation.
