Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric (pale red; somwhat gritty; uncommon, small, well sorted, subrounded, white and black inclusions), firing, and surface treatment (consistent but very thin, very pale orange wash). Plug of clay in handle loop from before firing.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves most of middle to upper handle and small part of adjacent wall. Slight, extensive pitting, abrasion, and minor chipping around edges; worn breaks; extensive film of encrustation.
