Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: pale reddish brown, more yellowish brown near surface; hard; gritty surface, slightly granular break; uncommon, small, subangular and subrounded, mostly white inclusions. Consistently fired. Surface: unslipped. Slight ridging at seam and webbing. Uncommon clay nodules in grooves.
Preservation comment
Five joining sherds preserve almost entire lamp but missing small pieces from back left shoulder and front of base. Slight, somewhat sparse pitting and abrasion; worn breaks; rare specks of encrustation.
