Small dish with low, flaring walls with rounded outer profile and thickened triangular rim. Inner wall has convex band above quite shear turn to floor. Two lightly incised pairs of concentric circles on floor. The base is formed by a flat band, tilting slightly up and resting only on outermost edge; there are offsets towards center of base. An epsilon with rounded vertical stroke is inscribed at center of base.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine fabric with distinct red slip; discoloring of fabric, as shown by lighter and pinker patches, and of slip, now very dull and variably flakey, which is splotchy.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 80% of vessel, including ca. 75% of rim and full profile. Slight to moderate, frequent abrasion and erosion; slip is worn and absent in patches. Slight, sparse encrustation. Weathering consistent with marine submersion.
