- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Gray fabric with redder patches across surface from inconsistent firing. Coarse, very hard; numerous craters across surface (overfiring?). At surface are visible small, varied, poorly sorted, inclusions: white, red, orange (terracotta?), black to gray; uncommon to common, irregular voids; one long, thin cavity on underside from thread or stem at surface of clay.
- Preservation comment
- Intact. Slight to moderate, extensive pitting, gouging and erosion consistent with marine submersion over long term; granular encrustation in pockmarks.
