Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff fabric but disolored by weathering. Hard, fine; smooth break. Very rare, small, subangular, lime chunks; very rare, small voids.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 40% of lid. Slight to moderate, somewhat extensive pitting and flaking, soft surface, consistent with marine submersion over long term; worn breaks; cloud of black discoloration across one side(?).
