Conservation
1960s: sherds mended with acrylic resin and infilled with fine white plaster painted gray.
Description
Small plate with vertical rim and low ring foot. Small flange on exterior marks of rim from floor, exterior of rim tooled with flat band that leaves top of lip slightly thickened. Low, triangular foot with near vertical outer face. Slight turning marks and scratches on outer face of floor.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine, slightly pink fabric, very rare small voids on surface. Thin slip is worn, largely missing on extant interior, better preserved on exterior.
Preservation comment
Three joining sherds preserve ca. 65% of vessel, including full profile and entire base. Extensive, moderate erosion and abrasion with minor scratching and chipping; worn breaks; infrequent small bits of white encrustation.
