Deep cookpot with drooping rim, small handles, and rounded body. Outer edge of drooping rim forms sharp transition to lower face that accentuates its slight upward curve; lower face of rim is more rounded. Small cut strap handle is attached just below rim and to lower face of rim; its lower attachment sits just above initiation of more prominent banding on exterior wall. Both interior and exterior of wall show low turning ridges; these are slightly more pronounced on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard, slightly granular fabric fired to dark reddish-brown; frequent tiny light inclusions, mostly calcareous. Darker slip gray on exterior, darker reddish gray on interior with many inclusions visible on surface.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 45% of rim, one handle, and wall to just below widest point and turn to base. Surface is mostly well preserved, with slight, sparse abrasion and minor chipping along rim; worn breaks; grayish clouding across surface.
