Fragment of brick-like terracotta with one slightly concave surface coated with thin layer of glass (Th. 0.0045 m). Remains of glass crucible? tubular channels?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Brittle, light buff fabric with rare to uncommon, small to medium-sized, white, red, and gray inclusions. Thin layer of shiny, brownish black glass. Pinprick to small bubble holes burst on surface (rapidly cooled).
Preservation comment
One small, roughly trapezoidal fragment. Slight, sparse abrasion; scattered traces of encrustation.
