Description
Large shallow plate. Knobby rim has rounded upper face, convex outer face, and flat lower face, sharply offset into hook. Straight upper wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular red fabric with no visible inclusions. one micaceous flake observed on exterior surface. Thick matte slip on interior, perhaps abraded; thinner on exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 9% of rim and small part of upper wall. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping around worn edges; slight but extensive encrustation.
