Description
Large bowl. Straight upper walls. Rim pinched above and below to create ridges on both faces and a wedge-shaped lip with rounded edges that hangs down slightly.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, hard, orange reddish fabric with few tiny lime specks and rare, isolated, large, subrounded calcareous chunks. Thin, even, matte slip with fine brush marks on interior and exterior. Classic LRC fabric.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves less than 15% of rim and small part of upper body. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and scratching; clean breaks; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
