Description
Cylindrical base has concave to somewhat domed underside. Truncoconical body flares gradually upward. Shallow ridging up body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular, reddish fabric with thin, gray core where thickening towards base, consistently fired in extant wall above. Inclusions are predominantly mostly tiny and light, some are rounded, light, small, and occasionally dark, small. Thin, matte slip on surface is more pale and brown than fabric.
Preservation comment
Two large joining sherds (0454+2368) preserve entire base and lower body. Slight chipping around edges but clean breaks; thin, sparse film of encrustation.
