Large bowl. Curving upper body. Vertical rim, concave outside; pointed lip with inward sloping upper face; short, angular flange with hook under rim. Oblique rouletting demarcated by horizontal groove above and below on outer face of rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Light red to faintly purplish fabric, somewhat fine and hard, with few, small, subangular, lime inclusions. Thick smoothed slip on interior, darker red than fabric; exterior turned fully gray by reduction. Classic LRC fabric.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves 5% of rim and upper body. Slight to moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping on surface and on edges; slight, extensive encrustation overall.
