Pinched handle with angular sides attaches at sloping shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 6/6-6/8, reddish yellow. Thin surface: 7.5YR 8/4, pink (“buff“). Moderate fine fabric but slightly granular break; faintly micaceous matrix; frequent, small, angular, black inclusions; uncommon, small to medium, seldom subangular but mostly rounded, red chunks and pellets; and occasional light, rounded bits. Surface slipped and fired to very pale buff, almost creamy. Rough Cilician fabric.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves lower part of handle and small part of shoulder. Slight to moderate, extensive chipping and abrasion; somewhat thick, extensive film of encrustation over all surfaces.
