Phocaean Red Slip
Description
Single sherd preserving less than 1/12 of low false-ring foot, estimated diameter approximate. Encrusted. Consistently fired orange-red fabric with occasional rounded <lime>, one chunk observed on underside of foot, rare tiny light bits. Thin matte slip on interior, with light brush marks, slightly darker than fabric; heavily encrusted exterior has thinner slip with light turning scratches.
