Description
Shallow bowl or dish. Small, low, squared ring-foot. Flaring, curved lower wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Consistently fired orangish red. Occasional round lime, one chunk observed on underside of foot, and rare tiny light bits. Thin, dull matte slip on interior, slightly darker than fabric; exterior has thinner slip. Light brush marks on interior and light turning scratches on exterior. Classic LRC.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of base and small part of floor and lower body. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; frequent, thick patches of encrustation on all surfaces.
