Everted rim, horizontal, with rounded outer edge; no offset below. Wide convex body. Handles oval in section.
Everted rim; upper face flat with light tool mark towards inner edge; outer edge slightly rounded; no offset below. Granular fabric is grey with frequent small to medium light angular inclusions. Interior surface is light brown; exterior grey; heavily encrusted on interior and upper face of rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Consistently fired grey fabric with medium angular inclusions with other small bits. Grey exterior surface and greyish-brown interior with slight brush marks; few small voids on exterior and interior.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds, one lower on vessel (0504) and one higher (2416), preserve ca. 30% of rim, the upper attachment of one handle, and a large part of the upper body. Slight, sparse abrasion; slightly worn breaks; slight, extensive specks to patches of encrustation.
