Wide body. Everted, outwardly thickened rim has rounded lip and concave inner face forming ledge for lid; sharp transition from rim to wall marked by groove. Light brush marks on all extant surfaces.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Consistently fired grey; interior and exterior surface color are virtually identical to fabric. Coarse, hard fabric with smooth to slightly hackle break. Uncommon, medium, angular, white to off-white (calcareous?) and orange to red inclusions (clay pellets) and occasional tiny dark bits. Smoothed surface with overlying blobs of excess clay.
