Everted rim with rounded outer face but sharp underside, almost grooved, and pointed upper edge; inner top face inner concave forming ledge for lid. Wide convex body: globular?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric consistently fired to brownish-red with frequent medium angular inclusions, few elongated; frequent tiny bits. Interior surface virtually identical to fabric, with greyish-brown patches; exterior is greyish-brown with signs of burning or use evident on outer face of rim.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 15% of rim and small part of upper body. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion across surface and edges; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
