Thickened and rounded rim. Vertical, slightly tapering upper wall. Thin strap handle curves sharply downward from attachment at rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Core: 2.5YR 5/1 to 5.2, weak reddish gray to weak red. Surface: 2.5YR 5/6, red; darker more grayish patches. Granular fabric with frequent, predominately medium, subangular, light inclusions, some larger, subrounded, white (lime) occasionally opening at surface, with varied smaller bits.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 16% of rim, the upper one-quarter of one handle, and small part of upper body. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor chipping around edges; somewhat thick, rough, extensive patches of encrustation.
