Thickened and rounded rim. Vertical, slightly tapering upper wall. Thin strap handle curves sharply downward from attachment at rim.
Core: 2.5YR 5/1 to 5.2, weak reddish gray to weak red. Surface: 2.5YR 5/6, red; darker more grayish patches. Granular fabric with frequent, predominately medium, subangular, light inclusions, some larger, subrounded, white (“lime“) occasionally opening at surface, with varied smaller bits.
One sherd preserves ca. 15-20% of rim, one handle stub, and small part of upper body. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor chipping around edges; somewhat thick, rough, extensive patches of encrustation.
