Short rim angled slightly outward, tapering to lip, rounded on outer face, offset from wall by groove but interrupted by bits of clay; inner face concave forming lid seating. Flaring, convex upper body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric is consistently fired pale red with frequent light medium angular inclusions and tiny bits. Exterior and interior surface fired consistent with fabric; light brush marks on all extant surfaces.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 15% of the rim and a small part of the upper body. Moderate abrasion and chipping along edges; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
