Short rim angled slightly outward, tapering to lip, rounded on outer face, offset from wall by groove but interrupted by bits of clay; inner face concave forming lid seating. Flaring, convex upper body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric is consistently fired pale red. Medium coarse, hard fabric with slightly hackly break; somewhat frequent light (off-white and orange to pale red), medium, angular inclusions and tiny dark bits. Light brush marks from smoothing all extant surfaces.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 15% of the rim and a small part of the upper body. Moderate abrasion and chipping along edges; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
