Short rim angled slightly outward, tapering to lip, rounded on outer face, offset from wall by groove but interrupted by bits of clay; inner face concave forming lid seating with moderate overhang. Somewhat straight tapering upper body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric is consistently fired pale red. Medium coarse, hard fabric with slightly hackly break; somewhat frequent light (off-white and orange to pale red), medium, angular inclusions and tiny dark bits. Light brush marks from smoothing all extant surfaces.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 15% of the rim and a small part of the upper body. Moderate abrasion and chipping along edges; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
