Flaring foot, somewhat triangular in profile; concave inside foot but flat bottom. Widely flaring lower wall. Light brush marks on all extant surfaces; light turning marks on interior. Excess clay around exterior resting surface.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5YR 5.8, red. Surface fired evenly to reddish yellow or buff (7.5YR 8/6). Slightly coarse, hard fabric has frequent, small, light, rounded inclusions, rare, medium, light and dark, angular inclusions, other tiny bits, and uncommon, large, subangular, white (calcareous) inclusions visible on surface. cf. standard LRA2 southern Argolid fabric.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves less than one quarter of base. Slight erosion and abrasion across surfaces and slight, minor chipping around edges; thin, somewhat sparse patches of encrustation on exterior and etching across interior. Dots of black discoloration on exterior.
