- Description
- Plate. Ring foot, triangular, with groove on outside face and low ridge on inside. Straight flaring lower wall; distinct step on floor just inside circumference of base.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Slightly granular, pale red fabric with occasional, small, lime inclusions. Thick somewhat smoothed slip on interior shows broad brush strokes; exterior heavily encrusted, slip less well smoothed where visible.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves 17% of base and large part of floor. Slight, extensive abrasion with pitting and chipping around edges; worn breaks; thick encrustation across bottom and specks across floor.
