Late Roman Amphora 2 Small
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, firing, and surface treatment: fine, hard fabric; pale reddish brown fabric with thin wash fired to pale yellow. Wet smoothing across neck; faint brush marks and turning grooves around exterior rim.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (0910+0924) preserve 75% of rim, large part of neck and adjacent shoulder, and one upper handle attachment. Slight, sparse abrasion and scratching; slightly worn breaks; scattered specks to small patches of thin encrustation.
