Fabric, firing, surface
Light red fabric but very surface fired whitish yellow; somewhat soft, somewhat coarse, with granular break; frequent, mostly dark, small to tiny, varied inclusions=“black sand“ with rare lime bits and red serpentinite. Eastern Cilician.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 20% of rim and small part of upper neck with trace of upper handle attachment. Slight, sparse abrasion with rare flaking; worn breaks; tiny patches of encrustation.
